چکیده

Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) system authorizes to controlling and communicates individual peoples with neuromuscular destruction; utilized the brain signals whenever intend to visual stimuli panel. A multi-color stimuli based on Steady-state evoked potential (SSVEP) exiting a pragmatic continuous brain responses. In this experimental study involve the ability of visual stimuli based SSVEP to extract features of human-brain. Distinguish between three-color and different patterns respects to Regular/Irregular paradigms. Utilize Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to extract the features of each stimulus in agreement with phases and amplitude. The effort of ANOVA is classify the responses effect in each pattern and three color as primary procedure, which exhibit a capability of brain activity based SSVEP paradigms. Outcome results indicate dynamics brainwave (BW) activities, which demonstrate a distinction differences between colors which are effects of brain activity with a significant distinguishable between each others.

New Paradigms for Brain Computer Interface Based on SSVEP

A Brain Computer Interface (BCI) creates a new communication channels for disabled peoples, the classical way of steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) based on (BCI) was focusing on multi-frequency and phases. In this study a novel high-speed SSVEP based on BCI, was implemented a new paradigms of SSVEP, which induced by irregular flickering with phase-tagged toward brain activity respons...

Recognition a Multi-pattern in BCI system Based SSVEPs

Brain-computer Interfaces (BCI) is a significant communication channel, support a handicap people from suffering of disabilities such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). A multi-pattern of visual stimulus based on Steady-state Evoked Potential (SSVEP) is extract a particular stimulation to continuous pragmatic brain response. In this empirical study, which is depend on EEG signals by evoke ...

Simultaneous Detection of P300 and Steady-State Visually Evoked Potentials for Hybrid Brain-Computer Interface

OBJECTIVE We study the feasibility of a hybrid Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) combining simultaneous visual oddball and Steady-State Visually Evoked Potential (SSVEP) paradigms, where both types of stimuli are superimposed on a computer screen. Potentially, such a combination could result in a system being able to operate faster than a purely P300-based BCI and encode more targets than a purely...

On the stimulus duty cycle in steady state visual evoked potential

Brain-computer interfaces (BCI) are useful devices that allow direct control of external devices using thoughts, i.e. brain’s electrical activity. There are several BCI paradigms, of which steady state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) is the most commonly used due to its quick response and accuracy. SSVEP stimuli are typically generated by varying the luminance of a target for a set number of fr...

Development of a Brain Computer Interface (BCI) Speller System Based on SSVEP Signals

BCI is one of the most intriguing technologies among other HCI systems, mostly because of its capability of recording brain activities. Spelling BCIs, which help paralyzed people to maintain communication, are one of the striking topics in the field of BCI. In this scientific a spelling BCI system with high transfer rate and accuracy that uses SSVEP signals is proposed. In addition, we suggested...
